Romelu Lukaku ‘May consider Antonio Conte reunion at Spurs’

Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku could reportedly be ready to plan a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window.

Over the past few days, the Belgian’s long-term future at Stamford Bridge has been questioned after being interviewed by Sky Sport Italia that he was unhappy with life at the Blues.
The 28-year-old was subsequently kicked out to face Liverpool on Sunday, head coach Thomas Tuchel said further discussions will take place on Monday.

However, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Lukaku is already set to secure a summer spell for Spurs, who recently appointed former Inter Milan boss Antonio Conte as their new boss.
While Lukaku has strongly suggested that he aspires to a return to San Siro just six months after the start of a five-year contract, Inter will realistically not be able to afford the price Chelsea are asking for in the short term.
Spurs face a scenario in which they may have to consider taking advantage of Harry Kane in 2022 or 2023, raising the possibility of Lukaku making a controversial change in the English capital.
