Barcelona put on a thrilling performance in a resounding 4-1 win over Valencia, as the ‘Blaugrana’ scored four goals in a league away game for the first time in over a year.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored his first two goals for Barcelona in a convincing 4-1 victory over Valencia on Sunday to lift his side to fourth place in La Liga.
Those were the eighth and ninth goals of the season for the former Arsenal striker, who last scored against the Gunners in October in a 3-1 win over Aston Villa.
Frenkie de Jong and Pedri also scored goals for Barcelona who looked much better after their struggles early in the season. Carlos Soler scored a comforting goal for the locals.
The victory lifted Barcelona to fourth place with 42 points from 24 games, drawing against Atletico, who is fifth in terms of goal difference. Real Madrid are at the top of the table with 57 points.
