Manchester United ‘Will let Cristiano Ronaldo leave this summer’

Manchester United are reportedly willing to let Cristiano Ronaldo leave the club this summer if he decides to push for a transfer from Old Trafford.

Ronaldo was in excellent shape for the Red Devils during the 2021-22 season, scoring 15 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions, as well as contributing three assists.

Ronaldo has a contract at Old Trafford until June 2023, with the option for another year, but rumor has it that he could leave this summer if the club doesn’t qualify for next season’s Champions League.

Ronaldo signed a £480,000-a-week contract after returning to the club from Juventus last summer, making him the highest-paid player in the Premier League.

Man United are battling for a place in the top four of the Premier League table as they travel to Atletico Madrid for the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 this week

A recent report also claimed that the Portugal international has been struggling with the pace of the Premier League this season, which could lead to Him finding a new challenge this summer.

According to The Mirror, Manchester United will not stand in the forward’s path if he wants to walk away from the 20-time English champions ahead of next season.
